Shodcast = “A term given to a format of podcast or internet only available radio show that is of a slightly lower quality than other more official podcasts. The shows rely heavily on humour and wit to compensate for their lacking in other areas such as production value or organisation. Often banter or friendly diverse conversation is a large portion of the shows appeal, music also plays an important role in the shows.”

The Shodcast came about after Dave and Pete had a need to revisit what was once called the Uber Show back in our heyday when we first started uni and were stupidly given a slot on campus radio. After literally 5 minutes of training, we were left alone in a studio full of very expensive buttons and very little idea of how to use them. As a result, the first 10 minutes of broadcasting was silence since we didn’t turn the volume up…

Five years on, very little has changed! We are still very inept at producing good radio, but make up for it by being really good looking.
