I started spinning in 2003, because I wanted to be part of the solution to a problem. The problem was that DJs were no longer breaking records and keeping the crowd dancing like they did in the 90s. I believe part of the art of DJing requires listening to your audience, yes. But a true DJ is a leader and a follower. Willing to take risks. Not being afraid to introduce your audience to something new. Hip-hop and R&B are my specialties but I also enjoy mixing Afrobeats, Reggae, Bounce, Dancehall and Pop.
