Today was a mix of wins and setbacks—pretty much the usual when working with music.

Tried to share my edit of Apoptygma Berzerk - Stitch (Restitched by Cronos Titan) (Shane Aungst Edit), but, as expected, the copyright wall blocked it. Unofficial edits are always a gamble when it comes to sharing them online, but if you’ve caught one of my sets, you’ve probably heard it.

On a more positive note, I uploaded my Forgotten Child - El Tiempo Pasa (Shane Aungst Remix) to Mixcloud. I originally worked on this remix back in 2017, and it later appeared on the CSI - CIA Supporter Compilation in 2018. It’s cool to finally have it up for streaming—definitely check it out if you haven’t heard it before!

I also shared my first set from SIN: Vampire Rave 2025 at Kremwerk, which opens with my latest remix for Phil Stiles - I’m Fading (Shane Aungst Remix). Phil and I have collaborated a few times now, and his music always brings out a different side of my production—more atmospheric and introspective than my usual heavy material. His new EP is coming soon, and I’m looking forward to hearing how it all comes together.

Not everything went as planned today, but that’s just part of the process. Grateful to keep creating and sharing. More to come soon
