"Shanace" grew up on the foundations of 4x4 House, UK Garage and sound system music. He started listening Grime from the school playground, watching channel U & downloading "dubs" from Limewire on dial up connection. He stumbled across Dubstep over 10 years ago and puts Skream! the album as a main point in changing his musical journey.

He has been learning how to mix before knowing how to read. He also started collecting music since an infant which consists of a few hard drives and considers himself "a hoarder of music". Because of this, he refuses to put himself in box when the question is asked about what does he mix. Shanace will continue to do unpredictable & seamless mixes due to the wealth of tunes across a number of sounds.
