As electronic music takes its course in the 90s, Dj Shadow (known as Super Drug today) was spending time listening to Radio DJ Italia and it inspired him to become a DJ. He would mix music on the double casette recorder then after Dj Shadow would also produce music on the PlayStation 1 using the Music Maker game. A year after, DJ Shadow had his first gramaphones, his first vinyls which were hip-hop and house. He then experimented with what he had and realized that house music would be his cue.
Dj shadow starts out in a disco club located in Pula 1997, the "Fort Bourguignon". The Discoteque where his friend would give him the chance to try out and play a couple of songs. His career took storm after appearing in the "What Club", quickly after surprising the audience with his Djing the club owner went on to congratulate Dj shadow and offer him club residence which he then accepted.
