Sean Ganther is currently a junior pursuing his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. He was born and raised in Pasadena, California before moving to the Inland Empire in 2003. Sean is very active in student organizations such as the Medical and Pre-Health Student Society, American Medical Student Association, Pre-Dental Club and Chemistry Club. He is also an officer of the Biology Club as the Social Coordinator. In addition, he works at the learning center to tutor undergraduate Biology students. He is currently conducting research in Dr. Bournias’ lab, which focuses on Alzheimer’s disease using Drosophila Melanogaster model organism and will be presenting his data throughout the following year. Sean is passionate and driven by his determination to change peoples’ lives in a positive way through medicine. He was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his childhood dentist, Dr. Joseph Elmassian, who treated him like family. After interning for the last three
