Chester's weekly Bring Your Own Vinyl night happened back in 2013 at The Bouverie on Garden Lane, for 4 months.
Originally broadcast online, live from the pub; uploaded here in celebration of 10 years since it happened and as an archive of those broadcasts.
Everything played was on 7" vinyl, with a few exceptions of larger records. Heaps of music from my own collection and loads from many of our regular guest selectors.
As it happened; no trickery, edits, post production. Expect pops, clicks, technical issues and skips. Just an eclectic mix of music played on a pair of Technics 1210's in a pub.
I'm glad to be able to share these memories of the night that brought local record lovers together to share the music they treasured (or just happen to have lying around on 7 inch), whilst steadily getting pissed.
