Selecta Iriedaily appeared due lack of roots reggae music in Romania around 2005. Slowly, but rapidly, the record collection grew and I started to play radio shows like Endoskopie (CH) and Beton Orman (TR).
In 2006, I played my first live gigs in Istanbul, Turkey. That was also the first year in which I went to my first festivals, Irie Vibes and Reggae Geel. Seeing Jah Tubbys Worldsystem live shaped the way I perceive running sound and selecting for the rest of my days.
In the summer of 2007, I moved to Belgium where I started my apprenticeship with @Ionyouth Soundsystem, as a boxboy. When Kaya Lion decided to step back from the sound to run his own, besides lifting boxes, I became involved in selecting and running the siren.
During 2007 and 2012, together with Ionyouth Soundsystem, I was fortunate enough to play dances like Iondance, Haile I Dub, Roots & Culture, Back to the Roots, etc and were the resident sound for Belgium's finest reggae festival: Irie Vibes Festival.
