Ian SECTOR Ashton is a 26-year-old up-and-coming rapper and recording artist.
A Long Island native, he has always been captivated by words and began writing
poetry at the age of six. By middle school, he was writing song lyrics and at 14, he was rapping in his school’s lunchroom, as his classmates created beats by banging
on tables while listening to him.
At 17, SECTOR began working in the studio and recorded his first song, “The Big
Statement” in 2003. A year later, his first album, “My Life,” was released.
Since then, SECTOR has released two follow up albums, “Rise to Power”
and “Against Your Wishes,” with a fourth one, “The Underdawg,” due out soon. His
songs are a mix of reflective beats, such as “The Come-Up,” which chronicles his
journey as a rapper, and dance anthems, including “Beautiful Life” and “She Official,”
which is currently tearing through the club scene.
