"Vihāra" is Sanskrit for "dwellings". According to the yogācāra school of Buddhism, the bodhisattva (anyone who embarks on the path towards Buddhahood) passes through thirteen dwellings on their way towards Buddhahood: Willingness, Ascertainment, Joy, Discipline, Higher Mind, Mindfulness, Truth, Understanding of Suffering, Intentionality, Spontaneity, Analytical Knowledge, Rebirth, and Nirvana.

This manifestation of SEB is invested in providing a sonic foundation (Sanskrit: bhūmi) for meditation. For Yogācāra, meditation includes reflection on a vast field of knowledge seen as essential for proper yoga practice. Combining music with education, every mix I post here will focus on one of these elements-providing a short text-based reading along with music for traditional meditative reflection on the concepts. Of course, meditating with the music alone is completely acceptable and encouraged! :)
