Born and raised in Salzburg Austria Seb Zillner grew up creating his own musical environment surrounding himself with music from all kinds of genres. At the age of 10 he started playing the flute in the local traditional marching band winning several competitions (flute trio competitions, marching band competitions). After years of gaining musical experience he switched to what became his primary instrument, the Saxophone. Early influences of John Coltrane, Stanley Turrentine, and Sonny Rollins made him explore this complex instrument even more. Between 18 & 22 he performed at Jazz Festivals and Jazz Clubs around Europe (Prague, Munich, London, Sofia). After he finished his education he went off to study Jazz Saxophone to a professional degree. During this period of studying and performing with local musicians he simultaneously started to build up his career as a recording artist collaborating with producers in several genres across the globe.
