I've been inspired by other cloudcasters to step out of my Breaks/House box a little bit. I used to love the trance that came out in the 90s, but around 2000 trance evolved into this synth melodic stuff that I didn't care for. Djs were having to put the BPMs AND the Key of the track on their records. Tiesto plays a lot of that kind of trance- I don't like it. (I call the Tiesto stuff "Hasselhoff Trance" because it oozes a David Hasselhoff vibe.) Anyway I stumbled into this guy, DJ Celteric, who does dark psytrance. It reminded me of how trance used to be back when I liked it. That said, I decided to put this mix together. This is what I'd imagine Batman would listen to. Jumping in the Batmobile, Cranking up the BatSystem, blasting through streets of Gotham at 200 mph, and just.. you know HANDLING shit.. Batman style. You might hate it, you might love it. Like I said, this mix was hauling ass! I'm pretty sure Batman was able to round up all the villains in Gotham City and have enough time to stop at White Castle. This really blended together well and totally fit the theme. Nice one!
