I work at the University of Bath and then go home and eat, put my gorgeous kids to bed. At the weekends I just do the same thing except I don't work at the University of Bath. For some weeks in a year I go somewhere else, at which point I do the same stuff, but I don't have to wash up....which is cool, well, OK, I don't have to empty or fill a dishwasher.

In my spare time I build, design and repair eletcric guitars, and try and coax edible fish from rivers and sometimes the sea.

If I read, I try and stick to archaeological or historical fiction.

I listen to all kinds of music, apart from classical and I try to steer clear of jazz, I grew out of both on my 40th birthday, life is too short for that shit.

I love life, other people and try these days as much as possible to simply be me.
