JY: How long have you been exposed to Dance/House/ Electronic Music?
S/M: Dance music has been apart of my life since before I could remember. I've been listening to and performing to other house music for
about 15 years. But eventually I decided I wanted to Dance to my own beat so about 7 years ago that I started actually conceptualizing my own mixes and performances.
JY: How would you personally describe your music?
S/M: My music is a provacative mix of tribal and electronic. Chants of empowerment and contradiction accompanied by the melodic untertones of classic House beats and baselines.
JY: Do you write, produce, sing, rap your own songs?
S/M: I normally write and perform my own material. Usually I come up with a conceptualized track that I want to do and then co-produce the rest with my producers. "I Got This Felling" was my first attempt at actually "doing it all" so to speak. I did the demo track on my own.
