In 1999 he hopped around the globe to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, where he worked the local circuit, throwing beach party blowouts and taking over the club scene. Coming back to Dallas (but never settling) in 2001, he joined the legendary team at Red Jacket, where he was a resident DJ and lighting tech for Red Square Retro, broadcasting every Sunday night for several years on 102.1 KDGE, The EDGE. When Red Jacket shuttered, Micheals continued on to several well-known clubs like Blue, Purgatory, Plush, Thrive, Lizard Lounge, Aura and Carson’s Live. He also happened upon a high-yield niche market with Martini Park in Plano to great success, and helped establish the location in Chicago.
Currently, Micheals is the CEO of DSB&G Inc in Dallas Tx. As the Owner and Operator of his own place called The Back 9 Bar & Grill. Micheals has semi- retired from the DJ Scene, but on occasion he does relate mixes and make appearances in the local Dallas Market.
