This harkens back to a time when radio varied as you drove along California. NorCal, SoCal, heck, even the Central Coast all had distinct sounds. I used to time driving to and from Cal Poly to catch as many mixshows as I could for that very reason. Heck, I even had a pen and paper in the passenger seat to scribble down tracks that caught my attention. Sadly, now it's all homogenized. Anyway, there are some kids on my lawn looking at my Corvette, so I need to go yell at them.
