Sophie Scott is a17 year old singer/songwriter from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Her acoustic mash ups on YouTube cleverly combine current songs with her own work to create a fast moving, captivating performance that have caught the attention of many viewers. Sophie has been very busy and has now made a name for herself in Shropshire with her single ‘Say Something’ being BBC Radio Shropshire’s song of the month as well as gigging in and around Shropshire. Through BBC Introducing ‘Say Something’ was then picked up and played on BBC Radio 1 when Huw Stephens made it his BBC Introducing track of the week, as well as being put on a worldwide podcast and the BBC introducing blog. Currently working with top producers in London and Leeds as well as having played as a warm up act for Benjamin Francis Leftwich Sophie is set for big things.
