Scott Haggart is a Scottish born sound-artist based in NYC. His work and involvement with Scottish art collective/record label Diskono confronted the listener with phenomenological sounds of specific environments and difficult beauty. Haggart’s work has been performed and exhibited throughout Britain, Europe and USA. His lifelong composition project titled 1:17 was first released by Diskono in 2008, with subsequent follow up variations released by Gagarin Records in 2014, and Cosmic Volume in 2016. In parallel with his sound-art work, Haggart is a leading expert in the hi-fi sphere and playback of recorded art. Haggart's Avant-garde Curfew sound presentation and discussion platform continue at undisclosed locations using highly advanced music playback systems, which are curated, setup, and voiced by him for invited guests. Avant-garde Rumble is a variation of this theme for club and exhibition space(s).
