Just old enough to remember Strings of Life the 2nd time round. Detroit sounds, rave culture, pirate radio and driving around the motorway waiting for the announcement are all memories ingrained in my psyche for the rest of time. Nightmares on Wax, Hed Kandi etc more my thing these days but great to see some remixes from back in the day still coming through including Kariya - Let Me Love You, Candi Staton/ The Source - You Got the Love (Many times over) and the Derrick May classic which still puts a chill down my spine. Way Out West, LTJ Bukem and Nastia still on the playlists. Sasha and Digweed (Northern Exposure) also. Too many great styles and artists out there to mention. What a journey!!!
