Presenter of Scots on the Rocks, Ross-Shire Mod Gold Medallist Kerrie Finlay Macartney has been working with ABC Radio Alness since it's Launch in Oct 2012. Kerrie has been involved with Gaelic traditional music from the age of 5 and has grown up singing at various local and national Mods over the years as an accomplished soloist, duet partner, member of a Quartet and 2nd Soprano in Dingwall Gaelic choir. Kerrie also studied HNC Traditional Music, Cert H.E. Cursa Comais and BA Scottish Culture Studies with UHI. She enjoys all styles of Scottish music and tries to present a varied selection of genres within Scottish traditional/folk music on her program Scots on the Rocks. Kerrie is also one of the tutors for Rionnagan Rois - The Ross-Shire Junior Gaelic Choir.
