Saueri Chomothi, a self-taught music producer and vocalist, hails from Eastern Cape and currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa. She achieved her first success with the creation of a jingle alongside Take 5 for SABC One's youth educational program. In 2011, she released her work, "The EP". Since then, she has been involved in various projects such as creating soundtracks for "Freedom is Not Free", a South African TV production that focuses on the aftermath of 1976. One of her singles, "Only", with SculpturedMusic, generated positive feedback from industry heavyweights such as South Africa's DJ Fresh and Christos. Saueri Chomothi has also collaborated with Pilzy Lee and other female producers for VNLL BLCK, the first beat tape produced by women. Recently, she released her third beat tape titled "A SAFE SPACE" in 2019 and featured in magazines such as BPM Magazine, Forbes Women Africa.
