SMOOTHSTRANGER is the masked alias of Sascha Yamashita—a veteran of BC’s underground, now based in the GTA. His sets blur the lines between electro, indie-dance, synthwave, dark disco, and house, creating cinematic, time-warping journeys through sound. Part racer, part DJ, he mixes with the instinct of someone born behind the wheel—smooth, fast, untraceable. You’ll find him spinning in unlisted venues and underground rooms, or broadcasting his monthly podcast Midnight Drive—a midnight transmission released the first Friday of every month.
