Andy McArthur- is one of the founding members of Peterborough’s underground Deep House Sound System SafeAndSound, With his brothers, Iain, Rob & good friends.
Andy & Iain began playing for Grooveyard sound system in the late 90’s then went on to hold a residency's for Dizzyfunk and Dig Deep House Music events, they also continually rocked the dance floors when playing free parties for the legendary Nottingham based Sound System Smokescreen! In 2001 the pair along with friends formed SAS sound system and began playing at venues up and down the country/countryside, then onto Prague and Goa. They love getting down with the likes of DiY, Smokescreen, Rugkutta Duvet Crew, Wireless, Shrewd, Babble, Deep Cartel, Krunch + others from the UK free party. SAS stopped doing free outdoor partys when the rig was confiscated by the Welsh Police, at a party done in conjunction with DeepCartle.for the last 7 years Andy has hosted a SAS night underground in the voodoo lounge, Stamford, still going
