Sarah Autz is a Brooklyn, New York-based social worker with an interest in alternative mental health practices, dialectical behavioral therapy, and the relationship between the justice system and the LGBTQIA+ community. She most recently worked as an intern at Exodus Transitional Community, Inc., a nonprofit that provides services for justice impacted youth and adults. Working with the Center for Trauma Innovation (CTI) program, Sarah Autz provided culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed therapeutic treatment for individuals with mental illness and substance use issues. She also led peer-supportive and psychoeducational therapeutic groups.
