In 2010 the Ghetto Method Collective were asked to create live dj performances and soundtracks to accompany a series of shows to be curated by Hush at his Newcastle based artspace Studio OneThirty3.
The music was to complement and reflect the installations without dominating the space and for each show we not only received a brief from Hush but also met with the visiting artists and found out what music and sounds inspired them, what was playing on their headphones while they worked and how they wanted the night to feel.
Over the following two years we provided the soundtrack to 6 amazing nights on Tyneside featuring installations from Titifreak, Paul Insect, Sickboy, Herakut, Gaia, Amy Dover, Eine and of course Hush.
