Based in Scotland Sam Monie is the best DJ producer you never got the chance to hear or listen to. Starting of 30 years ago putting on underground party’s all over the highlands of Scottish towns. In 1992 he moved off to travel around finding new party’s to dance at, from the beaches of Goa to the Oman club in Berlin always listening always learning.
With a chance visit to London at the start of 1996 was put onto a club he should pay a visit and a party he might want to try. That club was the The End, and that party was Wiggle.
By the time The End had its first birthday party Sam had moved to London as he had found the place he had been searching for.
Starting a recording studio on Coldharbour lane Brixton he spent every spare hour learning how to make the music he loved to DJ and dance to.
Djing at any underground party’s he could get on the bill to, he was building a reputation as someone who if you heard him DJ, you never forgot him.
