DJ Gotama is a household name in the psytrance scene of China. Originally from Belgium, he has been throwing psychedelic parties in the Middle Kingdom for over 5 years. In 2009, Gotama teamed up with DJ and producer Psytrance Pete from TIPWorld to form the now infamous psytrance collective Goa Productions.
As a founding member of GoaProductions, he has helped develop the scene in China and has held parties in the most exotic locations such as bamboo forests, beaches, temples, pagodas, national parks, squat shelters etc.
Gotama lives and parties in Shanghai, but flies out regularly to promote the psytrance culture across China. On his mission to grow the seed he planted along with teammates Psytrance Pete and Microgram, Gotama has reached a broad fan base from all over China.
