Salina-Pearl Nigro

Auckland, New Zealand

Salina-Pearl discovered her passion for house music as a child of the late 90’s house era at age 14 where she secured roots in the club scene working bars and doors for various promoters and all-ages events around town. She left school and became a regular at iconic hot-spots such as 'FEVER', 'Calibre', 'The Box' and 'Lightspeed' events where she discovered her passion for the soulful side of house while ignoring the club age restriction of 21 at the fresh age of 16. She rapidly gained a wealth of experience and respect in the house community enthusiastically championing her taste in music amongst a growing social network of DJs and aficionados.

By now a complete house addict, Salina-Pearl moved to create the legendary party brand “Deep Hard n Funky” in 2000 as co-director at just age 18. With her passion for the local industry, love of the music and flair for creative production she saw the brand rise to become one of Aucklands biggest and longest running party nights.
