Through a combination of unusual, sometimes alien-like sounds that merge in melodic harmony with each other, one gets to know the underground facet of K7’s United. In contrast to the hyper-energetic mood of Bass House, which has been popular among Mozambican youth for roughly half a decade, this multidimensional collaboration creates more of a tranquil atmosphere with enough room for the expression of one’s artistic individuality – an emerging style among our local artists. Covering a range of subgenres within House and Electronic music, these beats incorporate African elements of percussion whilst mimicking the abstract nature of our stream of consciousness.
