Awesome, epic session imbued with the haunting aura of forgotten cinema, the compositions combine tactile warmth with melancholic textures and the intellectual aesthetics of electronic music. A truly captivating narrative Ben, much respect bro! 👏🎼🫶
What a comment, Ele!! Thanks a million — proper left me speechless!
🤗
There's no beating this summation. Well done, Lozy99!
Wow! Creat! 😍❤️
You’ve got no idea how long I’d had this Duran Duran track sitting on a USB, just waiting for the right moment to close a mix with it! 😊
Hidden treasure came out at the right time! 😊
What a track to end. This was a very interesting and entertaining compilation of very diverse and sometimes obscure music. Well done BEN😎🙏🎵❤️ Much thx for the share ✌️
Thanks for listening, mate! That Duran Duran track at the end really stuck with me when I first heard/saw it in the film "Layer Cake". The way they used it was amazing — at first it’s just sitting there in the background, almost like ambient sound, and then it slowly takes over completely in one of the film’s most memorable scenes.
By the way, I’m already picking out some stuff so I’m ready for that collab. I’m seriously excited for it!
ah, nice to hear, just came back home.... need 2 days for resort and start work again... Also want to check a bit for new releases. We keep in contact. 😎🙌
Awesome session dear ВĒИ, as expexted! My very best: ❤️Snow Ghosts, Boards of Canada !!! ❤️ Cheers ! 🎹🖤D.
Haha look who's here 😎
Really appreciate the words, Diony — thanks a ton! ❤️ And cheers to ljbuturovic too!

magic stuff Ben! - late to listen but, on the other hand, it reached my ears at the right time! an arresting, beautiful and riveting journey (back home?). the Duran Duran track makes for a perfect closer, both confirming the narrative and providing an old familiar favourite that gives a feeling of affirmation as well as a landing spot after the tension, strangeness and alienation of the preceding main body. a masterwork my Sir! P🙏🙏
Thanks, mate!! I honestly couldn’t sum it up any better myself. The title, and those voices saying they want to go home while the title itself is basically asking “what home?” — that confusion is really the whole thing at its core.
Cheers, maestro!
you genius gave us another brilliant set, truly loved this one. I know you not pat attention to numbers but let me say that this is very underrated! I confess that I don't like that Duran Duran track but here it works. Great set bro!
Thanks for the kind words! A few SSS mixes ended up overlapping, so I just squeezed this one in wherever I could and didn’t really push it much. I can’t keep up with everything, and I don’t wanna be that annoying guy :D I’d pretty much given up on ever finding a way to use that Duran Duran track in a mix, but then the right moment finally came. Really glad you guys feel like it worked and actually earned its place in the session. Thanks so much, mate!
Wonderful session BĒN. The inclusion of Boards Of Canada made me go to Bandcamp and buy their latest. I knew they had released a new one after so many years but for some strange reason it had disappeared from my radar. Thanks for reminding me.
Thanks, Pe!! And totally understandable — we can’t keep up with everything! but "Inferno" will always be there waiting for our ears! Great album, in my opinion.
I agree. I bought it on Bandcamp and listened to it today. Great album
It may be a "mini-mix", but it was mighty excellent, Ben!
You knew you had me at Encom, lol! (lacing in a special edition bonus track, no less)
From there, we get many samples of all the great music that you have roaming about your brain.
I'll certainly need a repeat listen after taking in the latest SSS!
When you find the ordinary world, stay tight knit, my friend!
Cheers!

Thanks, Alan! That track from the Tron II OST had been sitting there for ages too, and it’s also a big favourite of my son Jon’s. I think I told you we’ve watched the whole trilogy, Ares at the cinema included.
And thanks for that final line — it immediately made me think of K-ADK’s text in the latest podcast. It’s memorable stuff, I really recommend it!
Cheers, mate!
A dramatic, coherent, and subtly moving mix. Well done!
Thanks for listening and commenting, Victor!!! Really appreciate it!
