Ryan Nordic has been involved in the Pacific Northwest’s underground dance community for over a decade. First discovering dance music at renegade outdoor raves through Eugene’s Gaia Tribe, and other groups, he was immediately exposed to music mixed by some of the most forward-thinking DJs of the PNW. His passion for deep, soulful dance music quickly grew in the house scene of Eugene while learning technical mixing from the area’s veteran DJs.
Driven in his search for deep, soulful dance music, Ryan Nordic was naturally pulled to the expressive melodies and resonant basslines of liquid drum and bass. Now residing in Portland, Ryan Nordic is a self-described house DJ with a drum and bass mistress. He continues to embrace the deep and intricate sides of both genres through his mixes and performances in both the club and outdoor rave environments.
