The opening track was excellent, very much electronic dreampop. Like you Rusty I am a massive Kraftwerk fan, "Autobahn" was the one that started my love affair with Kraftwerk, when I first heard it in I think 1975 when I was 13 I thought what is this, i was spellbound, never heard anything like it before! really like the 3-D Catalogue that has just come out, tracks like "The Hall Of Mirrors" and "Antenna" are brilliant new versions. Not seen the 3D concerts but did see them live in 1981 & 1991. "Datastream" was good, sounded a bit like Tenek didn't it? "Blue Room" I liked also, DEK101's "Reverence" was excellent, reminded me a little of Black Nail Cabaret. L:oved the driving bass line in Nightcrawler."Night Calling" had some amazing synth sounds in it. Interesting take on "The Things You Said". Absolutely loved the cover of "Heroes". Great to hear you play Metroland's "Inner City Transport", and one of my favourite B Sides of theirs "Vers La Cote D'Azur", as you know I am a massive fan of the band. I actually liked the synth version of "Free As A Bird", like you said, a bit strange but good, I could immagine New Order doing a brilliant cover of the track. Sparks are totally bonkers aren't they, you can't help but love them.
"Outband To Wonderland" was brilliant, great minimal electronic track, never come across that track before. "Chemical Wedding" was a new one for me as well, which was very good. How good to hear the Thomspson Twins "Hold Me Now", a classic 80s track. Great to hear you play a bit of De/Vision.
Really enjoyed the set Rusty, have a great weekend.
