My journey began back in 1982 when I started mobile DJing. I learned the ropes of being an MC from Gabriel Renteria Sr., who had been at it since 1976. We played everything from weddings and Christmas parties to quinceañeras. In the '90s, our sound system company, THX, was providing sound for just about every rave party that popped up in greater Los Angeles.
During this time, we also opened a nightclub called "Side Streets" in Downey, California. Thanks to Bobby Dee Sr. and his gift for promotion, we hosted all the popular artists you'd hear on the radio. Bobby Dee Productions is still putting on huge shows in Los Angeles and Long Beach today.
These days, I love doing promotions and being an MC for small clubs with my buddies from all those years ago. It's all because I love the music. We can't wait to see you on the dance floor!
