I had the pleasure of providing the music for Ill Exotics display at the 2023 Philadelphia Flower Show. The theme of the show was “The Garden Electric” and Ill Exotics took that one step further by reliving the glory days of the NYC disco-era with their immersive exhibit "Studio Exotica". This music was originally recorded live at Studio 54 in 1979 by DJ Roy Thode and a perfect fit for their award-winning exhibit.

I absolutely adore Roy and his music. More than once, he had me in ecstasy when the thought occurred that the only way it could get better was if he played... and then, he was mixing into that very song! He really was on the dance floor with the dancers. Thank you, Roy - we still love you! And thank you, Marsha, for keeping the music alive! This recording is faaaaabulous...
I miss him so much. I was supposed to. go over the Roy's place. after the weekend of the last. Black Party. he played pick up the some music. but. Chris. got into it that was the last time I. got to speak with ROY. but the MUSIC lives on !!! I loved. him so much !!!
