DJ RJ was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and eventually moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, where he greatly expanded his range as a musician. There was always an interest inside him to DJ and being at Berklee helped solidify that interest. He found himself constantly in recording studios, watching people mix music. He learned control of the microphone in recording studios and in venues. When Berklee started their online radio station, he was one of the first in line to sign up as soon as possible. He started his own Hip Hop/Reggae radio program entitled, "Free The Music," and continued for two semesters in 2007/08.
DJ RJ has done many specialized events, such as Weddings, Sweet 16's, Birthday and Anniversary Parties and enjoys bringing his own style of mixing and song choice to each event. He always has clean and family friendly music available, however, if you are in need of a strictly adult party with the best of today's music? He's definitely the DJ for you
