A DJ since the age of 17, has a long history of remixing and writing songs of his own. Early inspiration came from artists like Alphaville and Depeche Mode.
In the late 80's, early 90's, House / Dance / Techno started getting airplay. Some of the first CD's purchased was Prodigy, La Styles, 2 Unlimited and with two of his friends, Rough Beatz started DJ'ing using both Vinyl and CD. His first paid gig earned him 150 sek, and that was the start of a long DJ career.
But he wasn't happy just DJ'ing, he wanted to create and record his own music. Moving from Amiga and Octamed, to PC and Fast Tracker. There's still some of his creations out there. Using the alias 'DJ mIcRo' he made a bootlegs and remixes in Fast Tracker.
Now Rough Beatz has emerged as a electro/bounce/house act and it shows both in his tracks and his mixes as a DJ.
