I'm Jonny, My Nickname / stage name is Rotten. I am a sometime musician. I was the founder of late nineties Sex Pistols tribute band SUSSEX PISTOLS, and then went on to form ESSEX PISTOLS. I have gained respect and verbal praise for my performances as Johnny Rotten by the real John Lydon - which NO OTHER tribute act has, I gave that up in 2008, when i relocated to Washington for a relationship, and relaunched myself as ROTTEN - releasing an EP of original material on Submission Records. In the Uk, I continued to gig in the motorsport field with REV LIMIT SHOWBAND. I formed FREAKSHOW in 2008 also, a Punk band playing a mix of covers and originals, but disbanded it in February 2012.
I have roadie'd fr many named and un-named bands, and performed in many too, either Vocals, Guitar or Bass Guitar. My second ROTTEN e.p was released in 2010, and was 4 Punked up covers of Geoff Goddard / Joe Meek songs from the 1960's. In 2008 I scored and sound designed the Ransom Pictures movie HEALTH FRE
