Ross started DJing whilst at college, and originally cut his teeth into the craft by playing Hip Hop and Neo Soul. However, it was when on holiday, where he was introduced to electronic music; that his passion started to bloom and he began to have a deeper understanding and was able to fuse different musical styles. Playing as Rossco, he ran and played nights with many of the industries biggest names, at venues such as KOKO, Stealth, The Custard Factory, Ministry of Sound, Mint Club. Although he has an eternal passion for Deep/Soulful House music, he never constrains himself whilst performing. He is now honing in on what inspires him most in the studio; a mixture of Deep Electronic/Organic sounds. Something that evokes thought, emotion and positivity. 2010 saw the release of ‘Protest’, a collaboration under the moniker of Forward Motion; between himself Jeremy Sylvester and Chris Lockdown on UrbanDubzMusic. An atmospheric deep house track, with a relentless beat.
