I started with mixtapes long ago, continued sporadically as a DJ (Chattanooga, Bielefeld; Verbrecher Versammlung, Berlin at Kaffee Burger and later Monarch). Now I only do a digital mix every now and then. So far I used Audacity, but I just discovered Mixxx and will try it out next time.
Basically these are still mixtapes, but the pauses are shorter and the technique has changed... I think they are relaxed and deep at the same time. Which side do you focus on? Feel free to choose!
