Ron Boogie

A life long lover of music from various genres especially dance music (House, Disco, Electronic). I was fortunate enough to be exposed to a variety of musical styles by my family and gradually learned to appreciate it all. I grew up in an era in when dance music was coming into its own and was establishing itself as a legitimate art form. Ultimately, this music resonated with me due to its creativity, freedom of expression and uniqueness. During the late 70's and early 80's local dj's began to break new records and serve and taste makers for an entire generation in cities like New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco and Miami to name a few. I was influenced and started DJ-ing as a teenager in 1985. Music has always served as a place of solace for me. I do not claim to be the best at this game, so you may catch an occasional misstep here and there. I just have a love for the music and want to share the joy of sound.
