First inspired by techno's latest revival, BlckMirrør quickly developed a sharp taste for underground, melodic, and dub sounds. This passion naturally led him to mixing which made him begin to experiment with different styles ranging from underground dark, hard, melodic, and electronica house. After discovering Max cooper and Christian Loeffler, his focus began to shift towards melodic techno. Since then he has developed a deeper understanding of mixing by combining different genres such as dub, house, low tempo, and melodic dance-techno music.
After discovering Berlin underground techno scene, artists like 999999999, Hector Oaks, Rebekah, Inhalt der Nacht and Dax J inspires him to recreate a harder version by combining the elements of different drum kicks in order to deliver a “dark and banging” groovy sound.
