Ron Forman’s radio program THE SWEET SOUNDS is heard each and every Sunday from 7 PM to 9 PM on Kingsborough Community College’s radio station WKRB – 90.3 FM and on the internet at WKRB.ORG.. Each week I dedicate an hour to a special theme, some of which have been: TRIBUTE TO ITALIAN-AMERICAN VOCALISTS, TRIBUTE TO NELSON RIDDLE, BARITONES OF THE FORTIES and YOUR HIT PARADE 1936. In addition, I have done in-depth interviews with legendary vocalists Herb Jeffries
and David Allyn, cabaret star Andrea Marcovicci and upcoming new vocalists such as Maude Maggart, Eric Comstock,Liz Callaway and Barbara Rosene. Performers have included old favorites like Sophie Tucker, Eddie Cantor, Louis Armstrong, Arthur Tracy, Al Jolson, Perry Como, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Vic Damone, Barbra Streisand up to such modern performers as Billy Joel, Dianna Kral, Nancy LaMott and Peter Cincotti.
