Roman Jungblut is a sound & media artist based in Cologne, Germany.
In their artistic and independent works, Roman is focussing on topics revolving around identity, technology and social, cultural as well as personal fears and tensions. They has a strong fondness for research on, for and through the arts, which thereby becomes immanent in all their doings.

Since 2001 Roman Jungblut is doing contract as well as award winning independent works, mainly in the domain of sound for movies, games & TV (composition, sound design, production), sonic identity and media art / installations.

They has been and is doing teaching on sound topics at different schools and institutions in Cologne (e.g. KISD, TH Köln, KHM) since 2007.

Their mainly improvisational musical live performances - in varying constellations since 1996 - is temporarily reduced to a few selected appearances in Cologne since 2009, due to reasons.
