AVENTYR started out in a gloomy dark attic in 2001, at the head of the Sognefjord, Norway. They held on for several turbulent years, with a good flow of musicians from bands like Funeral, Taake and Grotesque Hysterectomy amongst their ranks. In ‘04 AVENTYR went to sleep and in ’08 arose yet again, with guitarist, composer and founder Steinar Aven, and vocalist, composer and co-founder Roger Olsen as the only remaining members of the “old” AVENTYR.
