Rodney Toomer aka “Dj Rodski”, was born and raised in Westbury Long
Island, New York during the genesis of Hip Hop in the early 80's.
He started Djing at the age of 9 and actually working as a Dj at age 14.
After moving to Mobile, Alabama he won a Dj battle in the late 80's at
WBLX owned by April Broadcasting which landed him his first radio
job. He has worked and created lasting connections with radio vets
like Greg Street, Skip Cheatum and Ray Ray Russel just to name a
few.  He's opened up for the likes of MC Hammer to Boosie, he’s also
Dj'ed for comedians such as Katt Williams, Sommore, Bruce Bruce,
Mike Epps, to D.L. Hugely and as recent as this Sept 2016 for the
Eryka Badu, Bell, Bev, DeVoe concert tour, and 8 years running Variety
Entertainment Funk Fest.
