Since about 2000, Roderick O. Pischl is fascinated by homemade musical instruments that were initially even simple wooden boxes for wine and handles of axes. Today, however, he builds quality music instruments, mainly in the monochord, and KoTaMo Bodytambura count, but also fantastic guitar rarities.
The craft he learned to self-taught ways of "learning by doing" is his motto.
And so it is that Roderick in his small but well equipped studio in Telfs / Tyrol unique creations produced guitar.
He emphasizes the fact that almost everything is hand made by himself, even the tuners and the bridges. Minor repairs can be make in his workshop. Roderick also is busy in the research and development of new instruments. Finally, it should mention that he also offers monochord and KoTaMo workshops.
