rod carrera began DJing in 1996, starting his career as a House and R&B DJ, playing all kinds of parties, even from birthdays to Weddings.
Then after quickly discovering Drum and Bass and some hard work, he managed to make a name for himself as Drum n' Bass DJ in his hometown of Sao Paulo playing for & co-promoting local events. This gave him a certain amount of recognition in the Brazilian dnb scene, and he has since gone onto to play in several different cities also, from promoters like Hysteria & Movement alongside some of the world's most outstanding DJ's, like Marky, Patife, Bungle, Marcus Intalex, Bryan Gee, Chris Intaface, Mau Mau, Andy, Anderson Noise, and Stamina MC to name a few.
Rod has also manned the turntables for two bands: Morales Cuspida and Antidoto. With these bands he played a lot of live p.a. gigs and recorded two demo cd's.
He has also worked on a radio called Dancefloor!
