RTD is a multi-dimensional artist. As a teenager, RTD formed a Los Angeles-based house dancing crew in Los Angeles called The Funky Tribe. This dance crew dominated the battle scene from 1998-2006. The crew gave Luis a new name; RUFIO - from the movie Hook due to his leadership skills and his distinct hair style. Time went by and the crew split up. Some crew members now travel the world killing the dance competition scene.
