Ottawa, Canada
I believe that all the world’s problems have a musical solution. My career in music began while still in my teens at Ottawa's CKCU-FM college radio station where I created & hosted many specialty music programs. I was a music writer for a major daily newspaper & a pioneer of music journalism on the Internet. I hosted music programs on local TV & worked with the Canadian Museum of History and National Archives to evaluate and develop their collections of popular music artifacts. For 13 years, I produced & programmed the Folk/Roots Channel for national digital music network Galaxie/Stingray. I currently explore online music history, journalism & interviews via my Rocon Communications music chat page on Facebook. My broad knowledge puts me in demand as a consultant, commentator & panelist, and I do my very best to have an opinion on just about anything & everything. Give me a world problem to solve, & I will assemble the perfect set list for the occasion.
