As I get older, I realize how important it is to love. Its a gift, but not everyone accepts it and passes it on. Without a blink, I look my haters in the eyes and I hand them my smile. If theyre miserable inside they will dismiss my gift. The courage of love lies in the low blow of rejection. But to know that Ive imprinted a memory that challenged their own character is worth the temporary embarrassment, in hopes that that same memory will invoke change and promote love in their future. Theres so many bound breaking powers in kindness especially in a world where happiness is a seccondary priority. I like to think im immune to the plague of hate, afterall its only a form of so many negative attributes. Laziness and insecurity, jealousy, low self esteem, madness, sadness. To be happy and loving takes more energy and discipline than to be hateful and give into the sickness. YES, hate is a sickness and it can be prevented and cured.
